Scan to Me - Privacy Policy

Scan to Me does not collect, store or transmit any personal data.

The app communicates only with the printers on your local network in order to receive scanned documents. Scanned files are saved on your device, in the location you choose: the app’s own folder (visible in the Files app), a folder you pick in the Files app, or the Photos library. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party. The app contains no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it has no server component.

Permissions the app asks for and why:

• Local Network: to find your printer (Bonjour) and exchange scan data with it.
• Photos (add only, optional): to add JPEG scans to your Photos library when you enable that option in Settings.
